We are currently seeking a Worldwide Buzz Marketing Manager to help develop and maintain new strategic relationships as part of our Corporate Communications team. In this position, we are looking for candidates that deeply understand popular culture and entertainment, with a primary responsibility for building strategic relationships with athletes, coaches and organizations to reach new audiences, engage in creative collaborations and tell stories we could not tell on our own. This role will report to the Head of Worldwide Buzz Marketing.

Buzz Marketing works closely with multiple areas of the business, like Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Sports among others, to create strategic, integrated plans that are unique to Apple. In this role you will:

  • Build and maintain direct relationships with high-profile Apple users in Sports and Entertainment.
  • Engage and entice potential new users in sports industry.
  • Monitor emerging sports talent and draft picks.
  • Create and execute strategic seeding opportunities timed to major sporting events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team responsible for MLS, NFL, MLB and NHL partnerships.
  • Identify strategic relationship opportunities in culturally important sports such as surfing and skateboarding.
  • Create regular update reports across multiple lines of businesses for internal teams.
  • Participate, support and/or manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure they are produced on strategy, on time, in line with Apple standards.
  • And, keep a pulse on emerging cultural insights and share trends to bring inspiration and new perspectives into the Buzz organization.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,800 and $210,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
