You will develop and execute comprehensive test methodologies for validating connectivity performance of state-of-the-art WiFi systems. Working closely with design engineers and system integration/test engineers, you will define requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive system optimization. Your responsibilities will span from automation framework development to hands-on lab testing, ensuring thorough validation of PHY/MAC functionality while maintaining robust test infrastructure for ongoing regression and continuous integration efforts.
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred. Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be). Hands-on experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments. Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems, with demonstrated ability to create robust, scalable test frameworks. Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and WiFi signaling testers. Experience with CMW500 or equivalent platforms is a plus. Familiarity with network analysis and debugging tools such as protocol analyzers, Wireshark, iperf, and similar utilities. Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#, with emphasis on test automation and data analysis. Experience in configuring and controlling access points (APs) and understanding of AP-client interactions is a plus.

The base pay range for this role is between $171,600 and $302,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
