Description

The Siri Developer Platform Team is looking for an outstanding engineer to help build our next generation conversation system. The team brings together understanding, execution and response to enable complex voice interactions. You should have an eye toward great user experiences, developer API design and system architecture. This is a highly cross functional group. You must be able to collaborate with specialized teams across AI/ML and Apple's software engineering organization. Be passionate about the product, and enjoy learning new technologies. Minimum Qualifications

M.S. in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience with 3+ years of professional software engineering experience

Experience with C/C++, Java, Swift, Objective-C

Strong in computer science fundamentals, software engineering principles, and development methodologies

Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and tools

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in building production quality developer frameworks and SDK's

5+ years of experience in iOS or macOS development

Excellent software design and programming skills in Swift/Objective-C and Python

Experience working with one or more scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash etc.)

Experience shipping code on device

Experience designing, building, deploying and maintaining distributed systems

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
