Imagine what you could do here! At Apple, excellent ideas have a way of becoming great products, services, and customer experiences. Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish. The people at Apple don't just build products — we craft the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries. Apple is where individual creativities gather together, contributing to the values that lead to extraordinary work. Every new product we build, service we create, or Apple Store experience we deliver, is the result of us making each other's ideas stronger. The Wallet and Payments PMO for the Card and Savings Program is looking for a strong Engineering Program Manager (EPM) with a solid track record of implementing large-scale, multi-functional, and cross-platform programs that drive the strategic goals of the organization. This is a fast-paced workplace where individual drive, innovation, and team collaboration are the keys to success. You have unshakable integrity and are as comfortable speaking to executives in open forums as you are with discussing bugs with a team member.

This role will lead projects and roadmap management of the Card & Savings program with a focus on building capabilities and platforms that support delivering amazing customer new features. You will partner and work directly with teams across the Engineering organization and cross-functional teams across Apple as well as multiple external partners, and will lead the end-to-end scoping, planning, execution, and launch of initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technical and cross-functional project and/or program management experience.
  • 6+ years of leading cross-functional projects, specifically managing dependencies across internal and external partners, and owning the end-to-end project delivery.
  • 6+ years of driving complex technical programs, defining roadmaps, identifying and mitigating risks, securing multi-functional alignment, and implementing delivery processes.
  • 3+ recent years of leading an engineering team through the SDLC of a customer facing product, ideally within the data, analytics, payments and/or financial technology space.
  • Effective decision-maker who is able to balance risks and benefits. Maintain flexibility to handle directional change and maintain ability to concurrently manage multiple priorities on the roadmap.
  • Using presentation, oral and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate with various audiences and levels both internally and externally.
  • Facilitate and participate in technical design brainstorming sessions.
  • Build positive relationships with multi-functional internal organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interact and influence partners and senior executive leadership to push projects and programs forward.
  • Ability to navigate and implement in an environment of ambiguity and lead project teams to the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Inherent passion to lead, mentor and grow other EPMs in our PMO team

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You'll also receive benefits including: comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments as well as relocation.
