Software Engineering Team Leader - GenAI Productivity Applications

Apple Israel is looking for an experienced engineering leader to build and lead a team developing internal systems and macOS native applications that leverage generative AI for productivity. You will lead a team of software engineers as part of a broader multidisciplinary ML and software engineering organization working on cutting-edge GenAI applications. In this position, you will collaborate with ML engineers and innovative teams across Apple, guiding technical direction, mentoring your engineers, and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that bring AI capabilities to users. You will lead the technical direction and execution of GenAI-powered productivity applications for Apple's internal organization. This includes setting the technical vision, making architectural decisions, and guiding your team through design, development, and integration of features. You will collaborate closely with ML engineers, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across Apple to deliver impactful solutions. As a leader, you will mentor engineers, foster a culture of excellence and innovation, manage project timelines, and ensure your team's work meets Apple's highest standards while growing their careers and capabilities.

Minimum qualifications include:

• 10+ years of experience in software development, including full stack development
• 5+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams
• Strong technical background in system design, architecture, and software engineering best practices
• Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time with high quality
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Experience building and mentoring high-performing, diverse engineering teams
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or ML product development

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with modern development technologies (Swift/SwiftUI, TypeScript, Python) - Advantage
