Software Engineer (Places Engineering), Corporate Systems Engineering

Apple is looking for a collaborative, highly organized developer to lead our environmental, health and safety (EHS) program implementations and support in enablon. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader to improve EHS programs that are currently automated in enablon, and implement new EHS programs, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical development and support of Apple's EHS programs in enablon, a tool that manages data and reporting for EHS operations
  • Apply knowledge and expertise to develop the best solutions and system architecture for meeting and exceeding Apple's business requirements
  • Lead and balance multiple implementation projects in parallel, and apply both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Tackle complex integration issues between enablon and content partners, and work with Apple's infrastructure and backend team members to resolve bugs and improve APIs
  • Train team members and provide ongoing mentorship/coaching to develop enablon technical expertise
  • Develop user metrics, reports, and dashboards required to support the global EHS team
  • Communicate optimally to all levels, work collaboratively with global teams focused on solving problems and continually improving EHS performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enablon implementation experience in multiple modules for global companies
  • Technical expertise in enablon's core coding language, NABSIC
  • BA/BS in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or Computer Science

Preferred Qualifications

  • A problem solver who approaches technical challenges creatively
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously
  • Ability to self-manage with limited supervision
  • Domain expertise in incident management, inspections, chemical management, compliance management, risk management, and action tracking
  • Flexibility (this role requires evening hours for monthly releases)
