APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop test applications on all platforms. Advise on new API design. Develop and maintain test infrastructure and automation. Develop UI automation and UI automation tools for testing. Analyze test failures and debugging, and report outstanding issues. Perform manual tests on hardware. Document and design testing areas, expanding test coverage. Write, review, and maintain example code for third-party developers to use as reference when utilizing the CoreLocation.framework. This code is hosted publicly on developer.apple.com. Track bugs related to CoreLocation.framework breakages and help prioritize issues that have large customer impact, using knowledge of Location Services and external telemetry. Audit cached data for privacy leaks and exceptions that violate marketing claims, including local and backed up data. Write and maintain automated functional tests using Swift. These tests are deployed on all physical and simulated platforms for iOS, watchOS, tvOS, macOS, and visionOS. Write applications and tools that are deployed by field test engineers for evaluating location technologies. Maintain Python libraries that are deployed on Apple's internal PyPI server. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
