Responsibilities

This technical hands-on role is centered around developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies to safeguard data stores for both on-premise and multi-cloud environments. You possess the ability to support, develop, and implement advanced technologies establishing robust security, privacy, and compliance controls for cloud and hybrid database settings. If you are dynamic, proactive, and eager to embrace novel challenges within a high-pressure environment, while simultaneously assuming the responsibility of securing a diverse range of critical relational and NoSQL databases, this might be the role for you to join us.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Data Store Technologies

2+ year with a strong focus on Data Security

2+ years of experience in cloud technologies, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, AWS, or public cloud

A robust foundation in general security, coupled with hands-on production experience in SQL/NoSQL, PAM, CASB, or CyberArk

Develop and implement robust data architectures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Proficient in developing automation tools and solutions using Java or Python

Preferred Qualifications

Lead the implementation of security standards, defined and enforced SLOs, and catalyzed process enhancements through incident analysis

Highly motivated and technically proficient individual with exceptional collaboration abilities

Demonstrated track record of delivering independently on critical and high-profile projects

Proactively research and implement novel technologies to establish secure hybrid data store environments

Design, develop, deploy, and manage security infrastructure employing DevSecOps methodologies

Hands-on experience in identity management, encryption, mTLS, log aggregation, and analytics

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
