Apple Information Systems and Technology is looking for a highly motivated ServiceNow Developer to build a world class support experience for employees. The developer is responsible for design, development and support of the on-prem ServiceNow application.
In this role, you will be a catalyst to our ServiceNow implementation, collaborating closely with process owners, project implementation and development teams, the ServiceNow product team, production support, and various infrastructure teams. You will serve as an in-house guide on technical implementation, end-to-end system architecture, and application integration. Be responsible for handling projects from inception through closure, including planning, design, requirements gathering and clarification, team leadership, risk management and mitigation, status reporting, communication, and driving both process and technical improvements.
Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow ITSM/HRSD modules, ensuring performance, scalability, and upgrade readiness. Configure core applications and build integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs and secure authentication methods. Solve issues, conduct testing, and maintain quality and performance standards. Support platform upgrades, build user documentation, and drive process automation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with multi-functional teams and follow ServiceNow guidelines for balanced, high-quality development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4-8 years of experience in building and supporting enterprise-scale applications. Strong expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow's Glide API; familiarity with JavaScript, AngularJS or other frameworks used in ServiceNow's Service Portal. Proven experience in configuration and customization across ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Service, Knowledge, Asset, etc.) or HRSD modules (Case Management, HR Service Configurations, EDMS, Virtual Agent Chat, etc.). Hands-on experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, or ODBC. Solid understanding of ITIL or HR service delivery processes and their alignment with ServiceNow capabilities. Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve technical issues, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and ITIL v3 or v4 is a plus
