The Apps Program QA team is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced QA engineer who is passionate about driving software quality improvements and enhancing the customer experience across Apple Books and Notes app!
As an Apps Program QA Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for testing both existing and newly developed features across all supported Apple devices. You will create test plans, design test cases, and conduct gray-box, structural, and ad-hoc tests to ensure Apple Books and Notes meet Apple's standard for the highest level of quality. Additionally, you'll escalate bug reports, and drive issues to resolution. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of new features that will push our products to the next level!
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $118,500 and $244,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
