The Apple Development Academy team is looking for a passionate Program Operations Lead with budget management experience who loves technology and believes in the impact that Apple products can have on education and the developer community. We are looking for a standout colleague with a strong background in finance and project management and a desire to work together to empower developing communities. This role will be primarily focused on the operations management of the Apple Developer Academy and Foundation Program across APAC. Our team works across multiple external partners and cross-functional teams consisting of university personnel, vendors, government, and Apple partners to define the project scope and deliver results. There are 18 Academies located in Brazil, Indonesia, Italy, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Korea, and the USA.

Description

The Program Operations Lead will be based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and will represent the Operations team with all the programme stakeholders of the Indonesia Developer Academy, from university administrative staff to teaching staff and government partners. As such, the Program Operations Lead is expected to build strong relationships at all levels within the partnering organisations and manage communications between all parties. As a Program Operations Lead, you'll be responsible for budget management, including forecasting and reporting, handling the procurement process, donation requests, and contracts. You'll also contribute to the development of university facilities. Your duties include defining project scope and budget, reviewing architecture and detail design, formulating and executing project plans, and guiding cross-functional project teams. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role, as you'll have frequent interactions with Apple and third parties. You'll expertly work on multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction. The Program Operations Lead will be required to travel domestically within Indonesia, as well as undertake some international travel to academies in other regions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Finance qualification, or similar job-related experience covering budget management, quarterly forecasting, and reporting.
• Project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution, change management, and risk management.
• Ability to analyse data, documentation, and communicate key findings to different stakeholders.
• Ability to create project plans and handle tight deadlines is required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
• Fluency in Bahasa and English is required.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); frequent communication with international stakeholders is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Audit or a similar Business Assurance function.
• Experience with running complex projects.
• Experience with Contracts and Procurement management.
• Experience leading implementation challenges in the area of architectural, design, integration, and infrastructure.
• Experience in educational training programs.
• Proficiency in Mac OS X, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of Apple internal systems is a plus.
• Innovative team-based player, with a forward-thinking approach that strives for operational improvements.
