Program Manager, AMR Ownership Operations

Imagine what you could do here! The people here at Apple don't just create products — they build the kind of wonder that's revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. At Apple, inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work. We're a diverse collective of thinkers and doers, continuously reimagining our products and practices to help people do what they love in new ways. That innovation is inspired by a shared commitment to great work — and to each other. Retail Operations creates the tools and programs that empower our teams to provide, a one of a kind, only at Apple experience. We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a global strategy that sets the bar. As an AMR Ownership Operations Team in Apple Retail, we build and deliver strategies, campaigns, programs, tools, and use reporting to enable consistently excellent execution across Retail. We do so by working across many business functions and with our customers in the field, ensuring that every leader and team member is empowered to create a world class experience for customers. As a Program Manager you will deliver on Apple's goals and objectives for Retail by giving teams everything they need to remove friction in the customer experience while ensuring leaders are equipped and supported in leading their teams.

Description

Responsibilities

  • Drive scalable program solutions that remove friction in the customer experience and equip Retail leaders to effectively support their teams.
  • Partner with key retail stakeholders across AMR and WW to identify ambiguous business challenges, transforming them into structured, high-impact programs or iterating on existing ones.
  • Independently lead the end-to-end execution of complex initiatives, applying program management best practices and critical analysis to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Synthesize and communicate high-impact information to senior leaders and cross-functional teams, shaping strategic decisions and ensuring global alignment.
  • Foster deep, productive partnerships with field leadership and Global Retail Support teams to ensure programs resonate with local market realities.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure program success, specifically focusing on leadership effectiveness and tangible team outcomes.
  • Serve as a key contributor to the broader program management team by sharing best practices, elevating team operations, and mentoring.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Project/Program Management experience or equivalent in Retail operations, leadership development, organizational design, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of navigating complex, ambiguous landscapes and driving scalable solutions across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead large-scale programs from inception to launch with minimal oversight.
  • Experience gathering insights from diverse global groups and balancing competing priorities for key business partners.
  • Outstanding organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with extensive experience presenting to and influencing senior executives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or relevant industry certifications.
  • Deep understanding of Apple Retail store operations, field leadership structures, and the global customer experience.
  • Experience working in a global organization, specifically interfacing with AMR and WW support teams.
