The OS Performance Tools team is looking for a passionate and driven engineer to lead the development of hitch diagnostics and tooling to help Apple deliver the fluid, responsive user experiences our users deserve. This role focuses solving complex technical and logistical challenges with building low-overhead collection mechanisms as well as effective analysis tools for hitch diagnostics on Apple's platforms. You will be working on challenging technical problems at the intersection of systems performance and user experience, collaborating extensively with teams across Apple that are involved in rendering content to the screen. This is an opportunity to have a significant impact on the smoothness of each interaction our customers have with their devices.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,800 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
