NAND ATE Test Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Define and support qualification and testing of SSD/NAND solution.
  • Create test validation checklists and work in cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance.
  • Lead internal engineering teams in system and component failure analysis and defining corrective actions from system to components.
  • Develop and manage SSD/NAND stress test rack qualification testing at the system level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree
  • Familiarity with memory automated test equipment (ATE) including Advantest, Teradyne, or similar
  • Experience with memory systems, technologies, and processing, such as NAND
  • Programming ability in C or C++ and automation scripting languages such as LUA, Python, MATLAB, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience in coding scripts and board design necessary to enable ATE test solutions
  • Understanding of Electronic Engineering fundamentals, including signal and power integrity
  • Ability to work with test equipment (i.e., oscilloscope, logic analyzer, protocol analyzer, etc.)
  • Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience with embedded system integration and development
  • Coding experience and understanding of embedded OS, SW FTL
  • Experience with PCIe, SSD controllers and firmware

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $172,100 and $305,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
