NAND ATE Test Engineer

As part of this group, you'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you'll be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. Together, you and your team will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices.

Responsibilities

  • Support qualification and testing of NAND solution.
  • Create test validation checklists and work in cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance.
  • Support internal engineering teams in system and component failure analysis and defining corrective actions.
  • Manage and run SSD/NAND stress test rack qualification testing at the system level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS degree
  • Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) including Advantest, Teradyne, or similar
  • Ability to program in C or C++ and familiarity with automating scripting languages such as LUA, Python, MATLAB, or similar

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with memory systems, preferably NAND
  • Experience in coding scripts necessary to enable ATE test solutions
  • Understanding of Electronic Engineering fundamentals
  • Ability to work with test equipment (i.e., oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
  • Experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience with embedded system integration and development
  • Coding experience and understanding of SW FTL
  • Experience with PCIe, SSD controllers and firmware
