The Applied Sensing & Health team delivers Safety/Fitness/Health features for Apple Watch, iPhones, and other Apple products. We are looking for an ML engineer who cares deeply about their craft to join our team. The roles and responsibilities include designing and implementing models and algorithms for Safety, Health, and Fitness use cases, driving failure analysis and providing interpretable insights, optimizing implementations for power, memory and performance, and coordinating closely with multi-disciplinary teams across the company. You will work with scientists, engineers, QA, and project managers throughout the software lifecycle to successfully deliver best-in-class secure and scalable systems. Most importantly, you will help ship features that impact millions of users on a daily basis.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
