The Camera Fusion Algorithms team in the Camera & Photos organization provides innovative algorithms and imaging solutions for all of Apple's awe-inspiring devices including iPhone and iPad. Combining ground breaking artificial intelligence, computer vision and computational photography techniques with next-generation hardware, our team takes the mobile photography experience to the next level. Description

As a member of our team, you will work on special applications of AIML and computer vision for creating imaging solutions. Through crafting advanced algorithms and forward-looking features, you will contribute to existing and future iterations of Apple's products. You will collaborate daily with our team of engineers to build a new and dynamic vision of how we approach new problems. You will contribute directly to solving those problems using creative and unique algorithms.

Minimum Qualifications

• Excellent Python programming skills.

• Proven practical experience in designing computer vision algorithms for video / imaging applications leveraging machine learning, foundation model fine-tuning, and computational photography.

• A good understanding of recent developments in computer vision including foundation models, machine learning, and computational photography.

• BS/MS/PhD in Machine Learning, Electrical Engineering, Computer Vision, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent Python programming skills.

• Proven practical experience in designing computer vision algorithms for video / imaging applications leveraging machine learning, foundation model fine-tuning, and computational photography.

• A good understanding of recent developments in computer vision including foundation models, machine learning, and computational photography.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

• Experience with iOS or other mobile systems is a plus.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
