Join the team responsible for ensuring the highest quality for technologies at the heart of products known to surprise and delight our customers. Core Biometrics Quality Engineering team is responsible for Touch ID, Face ID and Optic ID. We are part of Core IO & Sensors team within Core OS and work on a broad spectrum of technologies spanning across Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope etc. all the way to USB, Thunderbolt™, DisplayPort and accessory sub-systems.

Description

This is a highly entrepreneurial team, always looking for innovative ways to improve status quo and solve difficult problems in new and better ways. You will get hands-on with test automation while developing a deep understanding on the underlying technologies. You will work in a fast paced environment, interacting directly with development teams within the organization as well as cross-functional teams. The nature of the position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong technical and debugging skills, along with a drive to make a difference.

Responsibilities

Design and develop effective automated tests using deep knowledge of the technologies involved. Create automation solutions including possible applications of emulation, virtualization and/or robotics. Work closely with development, project management and cross-functional parters to drive excellence of quality.

Minimum Qualifications

Skilled in Python programming. Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent collaborative skills. Proven ability to ramp up quickly on both new technologies and appropriate existing technologies. Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work.

Experience with C and/or C++
