As a key member of our cellular system engineering team, you'll shape the future of 6G systems and work on groundbreaking wireless designs that will define the next era of mobile connectivity.
- Research and design 6G wireless systems (PHY/MAC/L2/L3 layers) - Define 6G system requirements and supervise end-to-end cellular platform KPIs, including modem performance and energy efficiency - Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams and present to executive audiences - Identify and drive innovation opportunities for 6G platforms, optimizing user experience - Apply AI/ML techniques to optimize wireless system performance - Contribute to simulator development, rapid prototyping platforms, and technology demonstrators - Participate in industry forums and 6G 3GPP RAN study and work items - Develop intellectual property through research and technical innovation
- Strong expertise in 5G, wireless signal processing, RF, and baseband system design
- Hands-on experience with real-time prototyping, link/system simulations, and RF performance analysis
- Deep knowledge of communication theory and physical layer design
- Strong foundation in machine learning concepts and ability to apply them to wireless systems and performance optimization
- Strong analytical skills and proven track record to lead multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Good proficiency in Matlab, C/C++, or Python for algorithm development, floating-point and fixed-point modeling, and simulation
- Master's or higher degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering or Wireless System Engineering (or similar) with several years of working experience.
- Experience in 5G/6G research, advanced RF/PHY/MAC design for sub-10 GHz and mm-wave communications
- Knowledge of multi-antenna techniques and beamforming, and sophisticated network topologies, including non-terrestrial systems
- Track record in productizing wireless systems from concept to commercial deployment
- A strong understanding of wireless standards (IEEE 802.11 family) and regulatory requirements would be a plus
- Experience in applying AI/ML for wireless applications, including neural network-based signal processing, radio resource management, and AI-native air interface design
- Experience with L2/L3 user plane and control plane stacks, low power design for mobile devices, and AR/VR/automotive optimization is helpful
- Some familiarity with positioning/ranging services and sensing technologies (FMCW radar)
- Prior 3GPP RAN working group participation and mm-wave antenna/RF transceiver design experience would be an advantage
