Display Process Engineer

Join Apple's display OLED process team, where you'll work with exceptional engineers to create the world's best displays, including the Watch, iPhone, and iPad! Our team is responsible for designing and manufacturing groundbreaking OLEDs through meticulous engineering of the OLED device, evaporation, encapsulation, and color filter layers. These displays deliver exceptional electrical, optical, and mechanical characteristics with slim bezels. We're seeking an experienced and innovative engineer to lead advancements in process and materials within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Description

- Lead the development of new OLED evaporation technologies to meet the performance requirements of a wide range of display products.
- Lead the smooth OLED display processes by closely collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing vendor activities.
- Conduct Process Modeling, Failure Analysis and Design Experiments to reach design solutions and corrective actions.
- Drive display & component supply manufacturers aggressively on their technical innovation to achieve desired OLED panel with advanced feature and performance leap.
- Quickly solve problems during the product development stages transitioning from proof of concept to high volume mass production.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in display engineering, electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related fields and a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with PVD thin film deposition, OLED device physics, optical & material characterization.
- Experience with OLED evaporation & mask simulation, such as structural & thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC).
- Experience in using MATLAB, Python, COMSOL or ABAQUS.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
