This position requires strong collaboration with SoC, PHY, RF HW, RF FW, and SW teams to ensure the end-to-end system requirements are met. You will also have a critical hands-on role in pre- and post-silicon verification, validation, and bring-up of silicon, to support productization.
BS and 3 + years of relevant industry experience. Good understanding of communication theory and signal processing, AGC, beamforming, Tx power control, mitigation of radio impairments, and calibration algorithms. Good experience with Matlab, Python, and C/C++ and efficient analysis and automation scripting. Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal especially in a multi-functional environment. Demonstrate clarity of thought and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
MSEE or beyond is preferred. Experience in the design and bringup of wireless communication systems with expertise in cellular systems preferred. Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G) physical layer and protocols. Hands-on experience in applying AI/ML techniques on real-world data sets to tackle sophisticated engineering problems. Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms is a plus. Hands-on experience in the bring up of real silicon in the lab. Ability to efficiently use lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc).
