In this role, you will be a key member of the system engineering team working on the features and requirements of modem systems.

Description

Design and simulate innovative wireless communication features for 4G/5G/6G and proprietary air interfaces. Collaborate with digital designers and firmware developers to realize control and signal processing algorithms with competitive power/performance.

Minimum Qualifications

BS and 3+ years of relevant experience is required. In-depth knowledge of coding theory, wireless communication systems, communication system theory, and signal processing. Experience with Matlab, C/C++ and Python for algorithm development and fixed-point design, and modeling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in modem chipset design and bring up. Familiarity with NR/LTE call flows and key performance indicators.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
