Description

We are seeking a highly dedicated, data driven and results-oriented individual to join the Business Development Team. In this role, you will lead overall sales strategy planning for RTM channel and products that will result in the growth of Apple Japan's business, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch in Carrier, consumer reseller, Enterprise, and Education channels. A successful candidate is someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys thinking about edge cases asks "what is another way of doing this?" And is a strong verbal and written communicator. We are looking for a self-motivated and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have a high level of integrity, energy and an approach to "make things happen." You balance the needs of multiple teams and maintain a strong sense of empathy for your partners.

Responsibilities

Develop new business model/channel structure/program in conjunction with Sales account team, Finance, Marketing, Legal, and other cross-functional teams including Worldwide teams to ensure that sales activity continuously meets Apple's standards and keeps evolving in a changing environment.

Drive strategic programs such as: Channel Back Margin, Demand Generation, Compensation, POS authorization, Reseller Digital channel strategy, and Product launch.

Ensure the execution of the channel sales plan, including engaging partners in collaboration with sales account team.

Committed to the continued pursuit of process efficiency/scalability in the ongoing development and execution of sales programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum experience of 5 years in strategic business planning, business development, or partner facing sales account management, or sales finance including end-to-end analytical/operational experience at preferably retail industries (but not limited to) including e-Commerce space.

Extraordinary team player and self-starter, very detail-oriented and capable of defining goals and meeting deadlines while keeping fighting for excellence.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to both local and international employees.

Prominent change management skills and ability to deal effectively with ambiguity or conflict of interest.

Outstanding business acumen for identifying areas of improvement and strategic insights with a proven record of developing and executing strategic initiatives.

Experience of quantitative and qualitative target setting based on extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Excellent time management skills by prioritizing tasks under a fast-paced working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Total 10+ years of experience in both strategic planning and partner-facing sales account management.

Experience leading teams or critical projects, demonstrating the ability to influence and empower others.

Previous experiences of creating / presenting to the internal / external stakeholders including C-level.

Ability to effectively navigate and manage conflicts of interest under time constraints.

Bilingual communication in both Japanese & English

Advanced degree in Science, Engineering, or Business Administration preferred.
