Purpose of the Job: Responsible for improving production facilities, reducing the incidence of costly breakdowns and developing strategies to improve overall reliability and safety of plant, personnel and production processes.

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the Electrical Mechanical Maintenance activity in Stock preparation area (Extrusion, Calendaring, Cutters/Slitters, Bead Apexing)
• Maintain and sustenance of equipment health condition by doing regular PM activities, abnormality mapping and correction, predictive maintenance
• Ensure that Engineering techniques are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of quality, cost, delivery and safety
• Achieve power efficiency
• Maintain Stores & spares, Repair & Maintenance within the budget
• Kaizen implementation
• Planning and Execution of CAPEX projects
• Ensure all relevant document like PM check sheets, why why analysis, history cards, corrective action plan and IATF documents are updated regularly
• Ensure people & equipment safety while doing any kind of engineering activity.
• Troubleshooting of equipment electrical breakdown
• Review deficiencies noted during corrective maintenance
• Ensure targets of equipment availability, MTBR and MTBF are met
• Maintains critical spares and spares inventory
• Manpower management.

Knowledge: Exposure to modern maintenance techniques Knowledge in PLC & Drive troubleshooting (AB, ABB, Yashkawa) Knowledge in safety requirements for major turnaround and maintenance activities Overall knowledge of Production Process Knowledge in safety requirements across the BU's. Sound knowledge in Problem solving and troubleshooting (Electrical & Mechanical) Knowledge in safety requirements for major turnaround and maintenance activities.

Relevant Experience: 8 to 10 years
