Marketing Associate
As a Marketing Associate, this person manages the new customer entry and customer maintenance process for the Tubelite brand. This position is primarily computer-based, entering data into JDE (ERP software), maintaining and updating spreadsheets, etc. Other tasks in the Marketing and Sample field may be provided as needed by the supervisor/manager.
This position requires close interaction with cross-functional team members in Sales, Finance, Transportation, and more, as well as the rest of the Marketing and sample teams.
Key Responsibilities
New Customer Entry
- Follow the new customer entry process SOPs, ensuring accurate customer data is entered in a timely manner.
- Update the various customer tracking spreadsheets.
- Create a new customer entry in the JDE software, ensuring all data is available from the supplied CIS (Customer Information Sheet) form.
- Documentation updates reflected in Egnyte platform.
- Work with sales, finance, and transportation teams to resolve gaps in required customer information, and to ensure customers are added in a timely manner.
- Manage sending of Price book and New Customer packets.
- Troubleshoot error codes that may come up.
- Complete required SOX Compliance documentation as it related to new customer setup.
Existing Customer Updates and Customer Termination
- Update existing customer information or terminate customers following the SOPs, ensuring accurate data is entered in a timely manner.
- Update the various customer tracking spreadsheets.
- Update the JDE software where needed.
- Place customers on/off hold as requested by Credit Department.
- Documentation updates reflected in Egnyte platform.
- Work with sales, finance, and transportation teams to resolve gaps in required customer information, and to ensure updates are made in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot error codes that may come up.
- Complete required SOX Compliance documentation as it related to existing customer edits.
Other Duties
- Track new Tubelite poral registrations by filling out the tracking spreadsheet.
- Capture incoming emails from customers and prospects into our customer email spreadsheet.
- As department needs change, this position will require flexing into other tasks such as Price Book assembly, sample assistance, and more.
Experience & Skills
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Experience working with CRM or ERM management preferred, but not required.
Required Skills:
- Basic math and reading skills required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment/Travel Requirements
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment and noise
- Extended periods of office work on a computer and in team meetings
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in an office environment, including sitting at a desk
- This position has no travel requirements
