Sr. Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Process Improvement Specialist to drive operational excellence across business units. This role will partner closely with operations teams to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement data-driven solutions using Lean Six Sigma and Business Process Reengineering (BPR/BPI) methodologies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with operations to perform value stream mapping and time-motion studies to uncover opportunities for process optimization.
• Conduct Lean Six Sigma reviews to assess current state processes, team utilization, throughput, and identify Non-Value Adds (NVAs), redundancies, and hand-offs.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses to evaluate and prioritize process improvement initiatives.
• Design and maintain scorecards and performance metrics to track the success of implemented changes.
• Develop and periodically review operational KPIs to ensure accurate performance measurement.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops for junior team members on business process analysis and improvement tools.
• Provide strategic guidance to project and program managers on resource allocation and productivity enhancement.
• Lead critical thinking and brainstorming workshops with operations managers to identify and design process improvements.
• Influence and mobilize stakeholder commitment to change processes, systems, and structures to meet business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in process improvement, business analysis, or related roles.
• Proven expertise in Lean Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and process engineering methodologies.
• Proficient in tools such as SIPOC, VOC, Process Mapping, and ARIS for documentation and archival.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and Mural for collaboration and strategic planning.
• Experience assessing Process Engineering functions within a Strategic Delivery Program Office.
• Preferred: Experience in modernizing insurance claims using Generative AI, predictive analytics, and member-centric design.
