ServiceNow Engineer

Position: ServiceNow Engineer

Location: Hybrid - 3 days onsite in Minneapolis, MN

Duration: 2 year contract

This position is embedded in the ServiceNow ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on platform governance, custom development, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate is not just a module specialist but someone with broad ServiceNow expertise, capable of building scalable solutions and guiding platform strategy.

Technical Skill Requirements:

  • Core ServiceNow Expertise
    • Holds active CSA and CAD certifications
    • Experienced across ServiceNow core platform, not limited to modules like GRC or WSD
    • Familiar with ServiceNow Store certifications and how to request/access them
  • Portal Development
    • Building portals using EC Pro, specifically for HR and workspace delivery
    • Experience with moderately complex catalogs, some of which are customized
  • Workflow & Catalog
    • Strong skills in catalog item creation, workflow design, and process automation
    • Ability to handle moderate to high complexity in catalog structures
  • Integrations
    • Skilled in integrating with third-party systems
    • Example: ServiceNow University stores data within their instance, showcasing integration use cases
  • Custom Applications
    • Experience building custom scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow Virtual Agent (VA) and Now Assist, including custom skills
    • Exposure to agentic AI concepts and applications
  • Testing & Quality
    • Familiar with Automated Test Framework (ATF) for regression and functional testing

  • Responsibilities include:
    • Technical reviews
    • Mentorship
    • Platform governance
