Service Technician

Apex Systems is seeking a Service Technician to join our enterprise security client located in North Port, FL. We intend to screen and submit qualified candidates as early as this week.

Compensation: $30/hr. (overtime rate of "time and a half" when/if applicable)

Schedule: M-F normal business hours

Perks: Company Vehicle provided immediately

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:

  • Servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision.
  • System knowledge of access control, IP video surveillance, intrusion, and visitor management, preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and programming networked IP video systems.
  • Troubleshooting and programming networked access control.
  • Servicing commercial intrusion alarm systems and other IoT connected systems.
  • Providing fanatical customer service when dealing with customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in troubleshooting and programming networked access control and IP video systems, including working on the customer's network
  • Programming Lenel, Pro-Watch, Genetec
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience servicing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems and intrusion alarm systems.
