Apex Systems has an immediate need for an Azure (VDI) Cloud Engineer in Arlington, VA. This will be an "est. 6 Month Contract to Permanent Hire" opportunity, supporting one of our largest DoD/Government clients on the East Coast & nationwide!

Contract Layout: est. 6 Month Contract to Permanent Hire

Contract Pay Rate: $85.00 - $95.00 / Hourly

Starting Salary at Perm Hire: $175,000 - $195,000 & Full Benefits

• Secret Security Clearance or Higher
• Sec+CE
• 8 Years of Overall IT Experience
• 4+ Years of COMBINED Experience in Cloud/DevOps/Engineering or Similar
• Azure Experience
• Data Migration Experience
• VDI Experience

Job Description

Sr. Cloud Operations Engineer with expertise in VDI and Data

• Support the design, development and deployment of Azure VDI solutions in a secure Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
• Support data migrations from legacy on-premises environments to the cloud.
• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure
• Support data migrations
• Design and enforce robust network security
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and network issues
• Collaborate and communicate across teams
