SAP BODS Developer

Apex Systems has an immediate need for a (100% Remote) SAP Business Objects Data Services (BODS) Developer. This will be an "est. 3-6 Month Contract to Permanent Hire", supporting one of our largest DoD/Government clients on the East Coast & Nationwide! Please see below for all position details.

Job Title: SAP DS/BODS Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Contract Layout: Est. 3-6 Month Contract to Permanent Hire

Contract Pay Rate: $85.00 - $95.00 / Hourly

Salary at Perm Hire: $175,000 - $195,000 & Full Benefits

Requirements

• Secret Clearance (Eligible)
• 6+ years of SAP Data Services/BODS development experience
• Agile experience
• Extensively used Business Objects Data Services (BODS)
• Experience in extraction, transformation, technical validation and reporting from legacy applications to SAP

Job Description

• Understands functional mapping documents and build data services projects to extract data from legacy systems, apply validations and transformation rules and generate reports
• Responsible for creation and maintenance of jobs and data flows
• Performed data loads to SAP using SAP Business Objects Data Services BODS
• Experience in complete end to end mocks and loads cycles
• Experience in creation of targets, sources, rules and reports in data services
• Experience in creation and maintenance of jobs on the data services management console
• Design, develop, and implement SAP data services solutions
• Perform tasks related to extracting data from non SAP legacy databases into SAP data services
• Develop and maintain data integration workflows, data mappings, and transformations using data services designer
• Optimize and tune SAP data services jobs
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP data services solutions
• Stay current with SAP data services best practices to continually improve solution delivery
