Specialist I

The purpose of this position is to coordinate key work management tasks related to capital construction projects, including cost-recoverable programs, from initiation to financial close-out. Duties include project setup and maintenance in Southern Company Gas (SCG) ARM, asset allocation and booking in Power Plan, creating non-new business work requests. Create and validate spot contracts. This position serves as a liaison between the pipeline contractors and Southern Company Gas for system and work management issues.

Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. Experience: Prior experience in project coordination or support roles preferred. Skills: Excellent organizational skills Strong attention to detail Effective communication Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project) Ability to multitask and prioritize
