Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level microservices using Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of event-driven architecture and the ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
- Utilize event-driven design patterns and technologies such as Apache Kafka.
- Interconnect microservices with relational and non-relational databases.
- Analyze and resolve user issues, collaborating with team members to perform system reviews and troubleshooting.
- Ensure high-quality code through unit and integration testing.
- Identify and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Adhere to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for each microservice.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members.
- Coordinate effectively with offshore development teams.
- Demonstrate strong programming skills using JSON, XML, XSLT, PL/SQL in Unix and Windows environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including components such as Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring REST, Spring HATEOAS, and Spring for Apache Kafka.
- Experience with JPA Criteria Query and API technologies like RESTful Web Services.
- Familiarity with software development tools and patterns: Git, Swagger, PCF, RabbitMQ.
- Strong background in writing unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or PowerMock.
- Knowledge of markup languages such as JSON and YAML.
- Experience with quality and security scan tools like SonarQube, Fortify, and WebInspect.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
