Finance Business Support Manager

Apex Systems is a staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Finance Business Support Manager with 7+years of experience in helping support technology teams in regards to their budgets and financial tracking/forecast, exposure to the financial industry, and knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to place at our client, a large North American bank.

Client: Big Bank

Contract: 10-month rolling contract

Location: Toronto, Downtown Core, 3 days/week onsite

Responsibilities:

• This role’s purpose is to provide actionable intelligence for data informed decision making for Financials, Resources, Applications, and Organizational Intelligence.
• Act as a financial lead or Business Support Manager to own financials for the organization and support delivery managers in ensuring financial health in their portfolios.
• Support numerous technology teams with budgeting on variety of projects (will vary in scale)
• Work within Tableau, Power BI, and excel to help with financial tracking

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years experience as a Finance PM, Business Support Manager, or Tech Finance Controller
• Strong Project Management skills, and ability to collaborate with multiple technology teams
• Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and Excel
• Experience in an Agile environment
• Exposure to the banking industry
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
