Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2

Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.

Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision.

Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities).

Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.

Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity.

Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process.

Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks

Required: High School Diploma AND 1+ year(s) experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or related field.

Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Preferred: Previous datacenter experience

Six (6) resources will be working A-side day shift, Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday.

Six (6) resources will be working B-side day shift, Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday.

Supplier Provided Windows 11 compatible Laptop WILL BE required.

Supplier-Provided PPE required:

Feet: Lace-up steel or composite toe-boots which cover the ankle, has a slip resistant sole, and meets specifications set-forth in the American Society of Testing Material (ASTM) International Standard F2413-05, Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective (Safety) Toe Cap Footwear.

Head: (PPE) Head: Type 2, ANSI Z89 approved Hard Hat or Helmet

Eyes: ANSI, CE, or EN approved Safety Glasses with side shields

Hands: Level 5 cut/abrasion/impact- resistant gloves
