Facility Support Engineer (Chillers)

We are seeking a Facility Support Engineer (Chillers) consultant for a Technology (Data Center) client.

Client: Technology (Data Center)

Location: Atlanta, GA (Monday – Friday onsite.)

Length: 6+ month assignment

Pay: $30/hour W2 (No Corp-to-Corp)

Technology team is seeking Critical Environment Engineers with to support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our data centers. This role is essential to maintaining uptime and ensuring optimal performance of mechanical infrastructure in a mission-critical environment.

Experience:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on chiller systems, including centrifugal, screw, and scroll chillers.
• Monitor and analyze chiller performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues related to chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated piping
• Operate and maintain HVAC systems, and other mechanical infrastructure supporting data center operations
• Respond to alarms and incidents affecting mechanical systems and participate in root cause analysis and resolution
• Work with electrical engineers, facility managers, and vendors to coordinate maintenance and upgrades
• Experience with mechanical systems in a high availability assembly / manufacturing / critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields.
