Service Engineer
The team is focused on ensuring operational excellence and reliability across live service environments. The role emphasizes maintaining service health, improving incident hygiene, and identifying systemic issues through data-driven insights and collaborative problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Live Site Health Management
- Lead incident review meetings, executive briefings, and service health assessments.
- Ensure consistent shift handoffs and maintain high-quality incident documentation.
- Post Mortem Review & Problem Management
- Facilitate retrospective review sessions to extract insights and promote knowledge sharing.
- Drive accountability for repair actions and systemic issues.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to ensure reviews meet quality standards.
- Metrics & Dashboards
- Design and maintain dashboards to visualize key performance indicators related to problem management, incident hygiene, and service health.
Candidate Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of telemetry, operational intelligence, and incident lifecycle management.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience leading service review meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Azure Data Explorer, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience in service engineering, site reliability engineering, or incident management.
- Solid background in Windows systems engineering and administration.
- Candidates able to commit to a full 18-month contract.
- Candidates located in the correct time zone.
