Business Operations Technician

Apex Systems is currently hiring for a Business Operations Technician with a telecommunications client.

At this time, Apex is not able to consider candidates for this role who require visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Shifts Available:

1. 7am-6pm
2. 1pm-midnight
3. 10pm-8am

Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:

• Hands-on experience with Ethernet testing, including performance, interoperability, and compliance testing.
• Strong understanding of VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) and EVC (Ethernet Virtual Circuits).
• Familiarity with UNEs (Unbundled Network Elements) and their role in telecom environments.
• Proficiency with Ethernet test tools and methodologies (e.g., IXIA, Spirent, or similar platforms).

Preferred Qualifications:

• MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) certifications such as MEF-CECP are a strong plus.
• Experience working in a telecom or network service provider environment.
• Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication skills, especially when documenting test results or reporting issues.

Location: Charlotte, NC

Onsite expectation: 100% REMOTE

Pay rate: up to $20/hr W2 MAX
