JOB DESCRIPTION

We're looking for a Director of Software Engineering to lead our Data team. This team builds and operates the foundation of Anvilogic's platform—responsible for ingesting, normalizing, and storing massive volumes of diverse security data at scale.

You'll set the strategic direction for our data platform, partner with product and security experts, and lead execution of high-impact initiatives. You'll also develop future technical leaders and help define what "great engineering" looks like at Anvilogic.

Responsibilities:

• Own execution of company-critical projects across the entire data domain.
• Define and evangelize best practices for building high-quality, high-velocity, AI-first software.
• Mentor and grow senior engineers and emerging managers into the next generation of leaders.
• Establish strong operational rigor around monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Act as a cultural leader—raising the bar for engineering excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
