This position allows for remote work Yes/No: Yes Percentage of time that could be remote (0-100%): 100%. 10 hours, all hours are remote as the group works remotely Method to assess remote work: meeting their objectives and plans for putting on programming for the community

Job Description

The position will include up to 15 hours of work per week including the following:

• Work with other counseling students across the university to expand student participation in Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ);
• Help to plan and implement one CSJ event during the semester;
• Research and compile resources for students related to experiences of BIPOC, queer, trans, non-binary, neurodivergent, and other intersecting marginalized communities to be shared with counseling students and faculty, supplementing current curriculum materials

Qualifications

• Experience with community organizing and/or event planning, social media, or other communication platforms
• Understanding of intersectionality
• Dedication to social justice advocacy
• Clinical Mental Health Counseling student
