Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of 8–13 Service Professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery and professional development. This role includes both leadership and hands-on responsibilities, including:

  • Overseeing daily operations and performance of assigned Service Professionals
  • Conducting quality checks and evaluating service delivery
  • Coaching, training, and mentoring team members
  • Performing vehicle inspections and promoting safe driving practices
  • Creating and driving a culture of safety and accountability
  • Utilizing SMART technology effectively
  • Leading regular team meetings and weekly one-on-ones
  • Collaborating with other departments to deliver effective training, including field-based coaching
  • Assisting with hiring and onboarding new team members
  • Responding to customer needs promptly and professionally
  • Coordinating with the Communication Center to ensure smooth service transitions
  • Completing and reviewing paperwork accurately and on time
  • Reviewing and approving timecards and PTO requests daily
  • Analyzing reports from Azuga, and PestPac to drive performance
  • Optimizing daily routes and visiting high-priority accounts as needed
  • Maintaining open, respectful communication with the Branch Manager, team members, and customers
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pest control or a supervisory/managerial role
  • Valid driver's license with a strong driving record
  • State-issued pest control licenses/certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

Required Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
  • Working knowledge and proficient in SMART system and services
  • Knowledge and ability to service all residential pest services
  • Cross trained on all services including commercial
  • LeadNow and Sales working knowledge
  • Experience in training new Service Professionals
  • All required Peachtree U courses completed
