We are looking for an Email Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team.
Title: Email Marketing Executive
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)
Location: Hybrid, with head office in Hampstead, London
You will support the Email Marketing Manager on the planning and delivery of emails for all audiences. You will be data-driven and enjoy working with our stakeholders to test, learn and optimize our email marketing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the Email Marketing Manager in the planning, building, testing, data uploads and deployment of email marketing campaigns for teams across the organisation.
- Manage the email calendar and liaise with teams to make sure their email content requests are appropriate, briefed in on time, and align with the Email Marketing calendar.
- Own the email build process, collating the required email assets from the Studio and working with stakeholders to ensure messages are laid out in the best form for email.
- Proof and test all email deployments to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Work with the Email Marketing Manager to manage the optimisation of campaigns through A/B test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Analyse and report on campaign and journey email results, providing insights and recommendations for teams across the organisation.
- Assist in managing our DotDigital account making sure delivery rates are as expected and training colleagues on how to use the system.
- Suggest new ideas for marketing email content and write engaging email copy on select campaigns.
- Work with our Studio to ensure all emails are aligned with our brand values and guidelines, making sure email content is of a high standard.
- Research and report on industry best practice and email trends, particularly in the charity sector.
- Ensure all marketing emails and the handling of data is GDPR compliant.
- Support continuous improvement for email marketing.
Essential attributes:
- Excellent attention to detail, proof reading, and written communication skills.
- Experience in email marketing in a professional environment
- Strong eye for email design; accessibility, layout, branding, copy length etc.
- Experience of using an email system, such as DotDigital
- Experience of data and reporting systems (we use Power BI).
- Excellent time management skills, and experience working with cross-team processes.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive and proactive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Desirable:
- Confident using Canva or a similar tool to resize imagery for emails when required.
