Lead I - Software Engineering - React Mongo

Location: Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram

As a Lead I - Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications. You will leverage React and MongoDB expertise to build modern, user-friendly solutions while guiding the team in adopting best practices. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical work and leadership to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Interpret application, feature, and component designs and implement them according to specifications.

• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code; perform debugging, testing, and documentation.

• Validate deliverables with stakeholders and ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions.

• Select and implement appropriate technical options (reuse, improve, or build new solutions) to optimize efficiency and performance.

• Ensure solutions meet cost, quality, and scalability expectations.

• Influence and improve customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions on time.

• Set and track FAST goals (Focused, Aligned, Simple, Transparent) for self and team members.

• Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–10 years of hands-on software development experience with React.js and MongoDB.

• Strong expertise in building scalable, component-driven front-end applications.

• Solid understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and integrations with backend systems.

• Experience with performance optimization, caching strategies, and design patterns.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies.

• Proven experience in mentoring team members and managing development deliverables.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
