Performance Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

As a Performance Marketing Manager, you are responsible for delivering the best results for your customers, both independently and as part of a two-person project team.

  • You will manage a portfolio of existing e-commerce customers and support them operationally and strategically in their development. You will be responsible for setting up, managing, measuring, and optimizing Google Ads campaigns, and ideally also web analytics measures, thus significantly contributing to the success of the customer.
  • You will independently design and plan highly profitable performance marketing strategies. You will use your knowledge of Google Search/Shopping/YouTube/Display to ensure the efficient increase in your customers' revenues.
  • You will hold regular meetings with customers to coordinate with them and show them new growth opportunities, either independently or in collaboration with Sergej (CEO) or Tolga (Unit Lead SEA-Team) for larger customers.
  • You will analyze and evaluate campaigns and derive recommendations based on the reports.
  • You will monitor market developments and identify new opportunities for further expanding performance activities.
  • You will analyze your customers' business structures, understand the economically relevant key figures, and develop performance-oriented solutions based on this.
  • It is important that you can work independently, enjoy working with different customers, and like to go into detail.

Qualification

  • At least 1.5 years of practical experience, ideally in an agency environment, in the field of performance marketing with a focus on SEA or Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max campaigns).
  • Practical experience in customer contact through previous positions.
  • Experienced use of Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Analytics. Bonus would be experience with Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager.
  • Customer-oriented, independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style with a pronounced service orientation.
  • The analysis and evaluation are one of your greatest strengths. You evaluate your campaigns and make the next decision based on your analysis.
  • Your self-confident demeanor, your sovereign manner, and your strong communication skills make you extremely successful in customer contact/customer service.
  • Nice to have: Completed economic studies and/or comparable degree/training.
  • Fluent German and English skills in speech and writing (German is mandatory, as customer contact is in German).
