Job Title: Grain Operations Leader
This position is responsible for leading and performing operations tasks involving the receiving, storage, cleaning, packaging, and shipping of grain.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform all tasks required at the facility that contribute to customer service, grain conditioning, and general facility upkeep
- Identify, monitor, and report safety and quality issues. Assist with identifying root cause and corrective action through the understanding of facility logistics, grain conditioning, and grain quality
- Assist with safety committee meetings and morning safety talks
- Train and onboard new operations workers
- Complete electronic data entry, reporting, documentation, and correspondence to support operations
- Perform supervisor responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor
What is expected of you and others at this level:
- Has developed expertise, typically through a combination of job-related training and considerable on the job experience
- Typically acts as a lead, coordinating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Has developed a specialized level of skill to perform assigned tasks
Minimum qualifications and skills:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- 5+ years' relevant experience required
