Production Supervisor
We are seeking a dynamic and safety-focused Production Supervisor to lead a team in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence through proactive quality management, team development, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include enforcing safety and quality standards, optimizing production workflows, coaching team members, and collaborating across shifts and departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, high-performance culture. This individual will work on the night shift.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organizational standards, following 5S principles, adhering to ADI policies, legal requirements and regulations. Role model Zero Injury Safety culture for team.
- Promote a zero-defect mindset through proactive quality measures and drive effective solutions to quality issues using 8D, 5-Why methodology, and root-cause analysis.
- Supervise and motivate a team of operators and lead in a high volume, semiconductor manufacturing environment, to meet daily, weekly, and quarterly production goals.
- Ensure high quality output by managing team attendance, optimizing workload allocation, enforcing procedure and specifications, as well as issue identification and resolution.
- Consistently demonstrate proactive communication with peer supervisors, direct reports, support groups, and management to establish clear direction and alignment on priorities and metrics.
- Work with your direct reports to develop and improve individual and team performance through coaching, appraising job results, counseling, and course correcting employees.
- Assist in ensuring our site is the local 'Employer of Choice' through strong recruiting.
- Participate in and model continuous improvement activities, using Lean Manufacturing principles that are aligned with the actions of the other shifts.
- Implement 5S principles to improve work area and workflow and reduce waste.
- Utilize the Shingo Enterprise Excellence Guiding Principles to create an open positive culture skilled at obtaining operational excellence.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending required training, educational workshops, and reviewing professional publications (both on and off shift).
- Responsible for corrective actions to address problems associated with processing or operating machines or equipment and conduct formal employee performance evaluations.
- Supervisors may be expected to participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities and be expected to manage appropriate responses to workplace safety incidents.
Requirements:
- AS or BS degree and/or equivalent experience supervising in a manufacturing environment. Degree and study in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical fields is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports in a manufacturing environment. Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working in a team environment that is very data driven.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methods & Theory of Constraints.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $69,600 to $95,700. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
Benefits for the position include 10 paid holidays per year, paid vacation starting at 136 hours per year for full-time employees (prorated for part-time employees), and paid sick time that exceeds the requirements of the Washington State Sick Leave law.
