Job Description
Candidate will provide field applications support, pre- and post-sales technical support to key customers for Analog Devices products focused on the Consumer Market. These products can range from Amplifiers to Data and Power Converters, and Communications. The FAE will interface directly with customers, sales teams, and product lines to identify key opportunities and position optimized solutions tailored to customers' needs.
Activities include, but are not limited to:
- Understanding customers' systems and proposing solutions using as many ADI components as possible
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the customer and ensuring fast responses
- Training customers on Analog Devices' products and solutions
- Training Product Lines, Sales, and Applications on customer's system requirements
- Running evaluation systems/boards, being able to provide technical on-site customer support
- Working together and coordinating activities with Account Managers, driving customer's technical support activities and coordinating actions with Product Lines
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with Product Lines, Marketing, and Applications teams
- Providing regular inputs and updates to help define new products
- Providing regular inputs on opportunities/designs wins, and losses
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of analog experience at board/system level or previous experience as Field Applications Engineer or similar role
- Mixed-signal circuit applications/design at the board/system level
- Graduate Degree / Postgraduate degree in Electronics Engineering, preferably MSEE or PhD, a plus but not mandatory
- Python experience a plus
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task many projects and set priorities independently
- Team player, outgoing personality with a 'can-do' attitude
- Capability to present to and work with all levels of Management, Sales, and Engineering
- Flexibility and proactive attitude are a must
- Good lab measurement and debug skills
- Good verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills (in English)
- Ability to deliver convincing presentations
- Local Travel to customers with occasional international travel
