The mission of the Magnetic Sensor (MAG) team within the Industrial & Healthcare organization is to develop highly innovative, differentiated and industry-leading magnetic sensing technology for our target markets. The novel and ground-breaking sensor products are defined and developed at ADI's European Research and Development Centre leveraging proprietary processes in the Limerick Fab, meeting the emerging needs of our strategic customers.
To help us accelerate our ambitious goals in bringing these emerging technologies to commercial success, the MAG team is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic engineer to work as an Evaluation Engineer for Length Sensor & MultiTurn products.
The role of the Design Evaluation Engineer is to work on the development of new product solutions in the area of magnetic sensing technologies.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the product development team, assuming responsibility for developing innovative, high performance, hardware and software measurement solutions for our leading-edge product portfolio of xMR based Multiturn, Position & Length Sensors offerings.
As well as the traditional electrical measurements associated with the Design Eval role, our products require precise magnetic stimulation using permanent and electrically generated magnetic fields and bespoke manipulation jigs. The development of such setups is part of the responsibilities of the Design Eval Engineer, carried out with the support of a mechanical engineer and magnetics experts within the group.
