The Applications Engineer (AE) represents technical aspects of business development and project definition. AE is responsible for providing full technical support for Business Development/Sales of all Anaergia Projects from the origination phase through contract negotiation and hand over to the Anaergia Project Execution Team with all required specifications and budget development. Consistently manage the assigned engineering activities in preparing project documents in compliance with the project schedule and observing the correctness and completeness of the provided information.

The AE is responsible for the rigorous application of the company rules with regard to application engineering activities, the accuracy of the provided data, and compliance with the document list's schedule for the document’s issue; Compliance with safety guidelines and requirements is a priority for Anaergia.
Education - Holds a technical diploma or graduation in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or environmental engineering, or another high technical education or equivalent with a focus on municipal and environmental engineering.
Experience - Experience of at least three to five years (five years preferred) as an Engineer in the Industrial Plant business, preferably in waste treatment, wastewater treatment, or anaerobic digestion. Design experience of projects during university education also counted. Understanding of all MS Office tools and ability to adapt to new digital tools. Basic understanding of process plants, including physical-chemical processes.
Competencies - Technical skills: Good understanding of fundamental processes like wastewater treatment, biogas, anaerobic digestion, and/or municipal solid waste (will be preferred). Knowledge of mass and energy balance. Ability to use MS Office tools. Key Personal Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to get things done.
