This role owns day-to-day relationship management and account execution—partnering closely with Client Operations and internal cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery, issue resolution, and expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners, building trust and ensuring a high-quality client experience
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the partner's business model, objectives, operational workflows, and success criteria
  • Own routine client communications, meeting cadence, and follow-through on commitments
  • Lead issue management: triage, coordinate internal response, communicate status, and drive timely resolution

Account Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and maintain account plans that identify growth opportunities, risks, and key initiatives
  • Identify and advance upsell/cross-sell opportunities (new products, new placements, coverage enhancements, new geographies, improved conversion)
  • Partner with Sales/Business Development to support renewals, expansions, and commercial negotiations
  • Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic updates, including performance insights and forward-looking recommendations

Operational & Technical Execution

  • Partner closely to translate partner needs into clear operational requirements and execution plans
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete account data and documentation across core systems (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, and other internal platforms)
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams related to implementations, product changes, reporting enhancements, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor program performance and operational health, escalating risks and driving corrective actions as needed

Cross-Functional Coordination & Governance

  • Orchestrate internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Product, Compliance, Legal, Data/IT, Project Management/Implementation, and Finance) to deliver partner outcomes
  • Drive clear ownership, timelines, and meeting notes/action logs for partner initiatives
  • Support contract execution and program governance by ensuring required artifacts, approvals, and documentation are complete and current
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks that could impact client satisfaction, retention, revenue, or the ability to write business

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, partnerships, or related commercial roles (insurance, fintech, or B2B2C preferred)

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partner priorities with strong operational discipline and attention to detail

· Experience working cross-functionally with product, IT, underwriting, legal, and compliance teams

· Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal), including comfort presenting metrics and strategy to senior stakeholders

· Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance trends and translate insights into action

· Proficiency with CRM and documentation tools (e.g., Salesforce and SharePoint or similar)

Success Metrics

  • Partner retention, satisfaction, and responsiveness (including timely issue resolution)
  • Growth in premium/revenue from managed accounts (renewals, expansions, product adoption)
  • Operational health: accuracy and completeness of account data, documentation, and reporting
  • Successful execution of QBRs, account plans, and cross-functional initiatives delivered on time
  • Accurate and complete account data and documentation in Salesforce and SharePoint
  • Reduction in recurring operational issues through root-cause resolution and process improvement
