- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to prioritize requests, identify improvements, and offer recommendations
- Analyze, design, and implement data solutions by constructing and designing data models and ETL processes
- Cultivate collaboration with corporate engineering, product teams, and other engineering groups
- Lead and mentor engineering discussions, advocate for best practices, and actively participate in design and code reviews
- Access and explore third-party data APIs, ensure data quality and integrity, manage data pipelines, and continuously enhance processes and policies to improve SLA and SOX compliance
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced Data Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in building and maintaining data environments, designing and constructing ETL/ELT processes, and managing data solutions within an SLA-driven environment
- Proficient in Python, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud services with a strong background in developing data products, APIs, and maintaining testing, monitoring, isolation, and SLA processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to lead and mentor engineering discussions, advocate for best practices, and continuously enhance processes and policies to improve SLA and SOX compliance
- Holds a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field
